Raiders Release Kurt Warner

SFL Sports – The Oakland Raiders have decided Kurt Warner just doesn’t fit into the scheme.

As expected, Warner was named QB1 the second he signed with the Raiders during the FA bidding sessions. He started the 3 Pre-season games Oakland has played to this point and has looked lackluster.

The QB had just 7 completions in 20 attempts and 2 interceptions in the short stint with the team. Coach J.Molina had big expectations for Kurt but unfortunately, he has failed to meet them. The Raiders are looking to push for playoffs spot this season with arrivals of WR. Platt and CB. A. Cromartie. The team is poised to make the next step into the top tier echelon of teams in SFL.

Kurt Warner caused at 5 Million cap penalty with his release.
